Court-created executive immunity is an error. The Constitution does create an immunity: for members of Congress, for things said in either chamber. There is no executive immunity, and that's on purpose. If you must ask why, re-read the Declaration of Independence with the question in mind.

Some of them were just irrelevant, but mostly they were surface level ones you'd ask if you'd never read the paper. I'm so sad that some colleagues think this is acceptable pedagogy.
