We lived in a pub when I was growing up and when I was 3 (50 years ago!) we had someone in to draw the pub for a business card. I sat next to him and watched him draw every line. I was transfixed and it was a huge inspiration for me. I’ve dreamt about owning that drawing for years…

You’d need to reinstate Radio 4 Longwave in order to cover all the councils with alternate week collections in different parts of the borough.

I’ve just ordered a light up Christmas tree for my Mum’s dolls house, made whilst at sea by my Grandad in 1941. Next door’s 6yo girl loves coming in to clean all the rooms and hearing about when it was made. Last year she solemnly asked me if I died during the war. 🤔

The costume on #Strictly this year seems to be lacking in the same care lavished on previous years, maybe budgets are cut? Just looking at that skin tight jacket on Aljaž, arms and shoulders look so v uncomfortable.

The @nsandi draw: I always imagine very slow moving people trying to find their glasses making entries in a dusty ledger before finding addresses on a microfiche before hand writing postcards to announce £10 wins. (Either that or they drag it out so as to hold on the £ for longer.)

I love my cosy studio so much, rain outside, warm & lovely inside. Market today at #SeverndroogCastle so some early crates luggery.

We went early as per organizers recommendations & really enjoyed it, moved to the back & exited easily at the last firework to walk home. Probably more difficult if you tried to drive or train or got there late but we loved it esp samba band, electric woman, dj’s & comedy tent #BlackheathFireworks
