This has me reaching for my woven ribbons, pine-cones, slender white candles and fir branches. Looked at their website and had a little cry. (I lived nr Oslo for a few years as a child) 🇳🇴🎄#GodJul

We went early as per organizers recommendations & really enjoyed it, moved to the back & exited easily at the last firework to walk home. Probably more difficult if you tried to drive or train or got there late but we loved it esp samba band, electric woman, dj’s & comedy tent #BlackheathFireworks

V sad to hear that we have lost Brian Patten, I remember a lovely man when I met him in the early 90’s and I so enjoyed his poems with my children.

Yes it’s awful, endured recently: All year round heated 50m pool in walking distance, miserable sunlit park w own pub 15 mins away, my studio right on the river, exhibition at london museum easily got to on the bus where I chatted to about 20 different strangers. *shakes head with sadness*

Thanks so the friend who sent me pics of her flower vase for non florists in action. Mine is next to it assembled at speed at a market from rapidly grabbed stalks from
my garden. Stick random bits into the supplied clay (or oasis), wiggle to drape, done. Shop via link in bio.

Cosy in studio carving all sorts for Xmas markets but… it’s a bit gloomy. Fairy lights: activated. 🍁🍂
