Sorkin: This is now state-sponsored capitalism. This is not really capitalism. Everything runs through 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue now. That is a fundamental reshift, and that is something that’s more akin to places like China, frankly.

It’s almost like they’re making this shit up.
GLASHEEN: Antifa is our primary concern right now. That's the most immediate violent threat we're facing

BENNIE THOMPSON: Where is antifa headquartered?

GLASHEEN: ... ... ... we are building out the infrastructure right now

THOMPSON: What does that mean?

A woman who criticized Ghislaine Maxwell’s transfer to their facility in an interview has been transferred out to another facility which houses violent offenders. Trump’s DOJ is now punishing people who criticize his sex offender friends. www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article...

This sort of admission—the VP is involved in prosecutorial decisions, the "concerns" arise from political actors, and the administration knows they don't have probable cause—would have prompted the Founders to impeach everyone involved.
JD Vance: "We're in the very early stages of an ongoing investigation into John Bolton ... if we think Ambassador Bolton committed a crime, of course eventually prosecutions will come ... there's a broad concern about Ambassador Bolton."

I read every word of the Gabbard Files so you don’t have to.

It won’t shock you to hear there’s no there there. But I wanted to lay out what she’s claiming against the timeline of the interference & collision investigations to expose just how dishonest it actually is. Helpfully organized by drop!
Tulsi Gabbard, the director of national intelligence, recently released a trove of documents she alleges reveals "treasonous conspiracy" by President Obama and his administration.
@noupside.bsky.social dives into the Gabbard files to evaluate what is–and is not–actually in the pages.
From Russian Interference to Revisionist Innuendo: What The Gabbard Files Actually Say
Tulsi Gabbard’s latest “revelations” are being spun as proof of a deep state conspiracy. The documents themselves tell a much duller story.

The admin has never explicitly said it's pro-corruption, but the end of the FBI’s public corruption squad is part of a pattern:
- gutting the DOJ's Public Integrity Section
- halting Foreign Corrupt Practices Act enforcement
- firing IGs
- Eric Adams case
- pardons for those convicted of corruption
Trump’s FBI shuts down its public corruption squad, making a misguided agenda worse

There’s just so much shady shit in this story, but this really sticks out. Folks in NLRB’s IT unit were so freaked out by what they saw DOGE doing that they wanted to notify the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency. Then this happened:

It’s not. Congress could solve this quite easily.
As far as I can determine, Trump's supposed legal authority to impose these incredibly sweeping and destructive tariffs rest largely on the idea that trade deficits constitute a national emergency. How on earth is this remotely legitimate?
