She/her. DO NOT HUG. Tea, books, baking, bicycles. Chocolate. #OU Astronomy student. #ActuallyAutistic. 🏳️‍🌈
Pinned
I'm #autistic. I'm a stealth #disasterbisexual #xennial.
I'm a perimenopausal part-time astrophysics student, full-time broadcast news flunky, with a gift for falling off (a) bikes when stationary, (b) shoes with anything narrower than a Doc Martens sole.
Mostly, I'm tired.
Happy Nearly the Weekend.
I'm #autistic. I am a #chaosbisexual younger #millennial.

I'm a lapsed physicist turned historian turned forecasting enthusiast. Also I test and document software now idk. But mostly I'm tired 😂

Happy Friday, happy timezone
I'm #autistic. I'm #alivingnitemare I'm #Millennial. I'm a freelance writer, who also started on my first book which may be out by the end of 2029. But mostly.. I'm TIRED. TIRED of my brain controlling me, but I carry on, what choice do I have. Happy Thursday(or whatever day you're reading this).
I may have been one the few people who watched that Oscar Isaac GQ video mostly thinking "collar gap?"
crazy how much this bugs me now that someone pointed it out. if i worked at the white house, i would find this ugly, but not as annoying as i do now. ignorance is really bliss bc they more you learn, the more you just walk around thinking "collar gap" and "kerning is off."

Yet more reason to continue paying one's respects to Mama Thames.
yes yes we all know about the Edmund Fitzgerald, rest her soul, but did you know about the ship laden with explosives that sank in the mouth of the Thames in 1944 and could explode at any minute and which attempts to disarm keep failing

Well, shit. I do make mistakes (I keep a running tally in a special file) and it looked like I had made a big one.

Re: Bond discourse. A thread.
Right. Here's my big pitch:

Muppet James Bond

James Bond in…A Heart-Felt Goodbye

Dominic Cooper as Bond
Kermit M Frog
Mrs Moneypiggy
Beaker & Dr Bunsen HoneyQ

The agents of G.O.N.Z.O. want to kidnap the world's chickens. MI5 has a mole (Rizzo the Rat). An agent is undercover as a chef in Sweden.

I know I've been off work this week, and not been as online as usual, but I still check the headlines each day and: same.
I'm guessing the BBC 'scandal' has been big on X this week as this was the first I had heard of it...

Ah, hello, procrastination my old friend. Cuppa? Bakage?

Well *someone* did. And no one's going anywhere until they own up.

And so it was that throughout the lands, as news readers named Watson and Crick as the discoverers of the DNA helix, a rousing chorus of “Rosalind Franklin” was directed towards the news.

*I* had to translate another customer's café order yesterday, and the server's replies. Me, who can work out what to ask for, but has to apologise profusely and shamefacedly when the respondent thinks "oh, she can speak *insert language here*".
The ENTIRE breakfast room at the hotel is full of VERY EXCITED GERMANS (I think they are here for a conference or work or something? They all seem to know each other and several have brought their laptops). Mildly smug to report that my inconsistent, clunky French is 2000% better than theirs.

Eurostar regret to inform me that the train I was meant to be on will now be leaving 40 minutes late. But the train before that wasn't full enough when it was meant to leave, so the staff scooped a bunch of us up and put us in the empty seats. So *gallic shrug*

A woman has come to breakfast in her pyjamas. They are pink brushed cotten with an excellent white snouty dog in a red jumper pattern. Bit envious.

It's a while since I've been in a hotel where the bath towels are basically *slightly* larger handtowels.

Realising as I strip down to my T-shirt on public transport that it clashes terribly with my blood test bruise.
To be fair, bits of the bruise clash with itself.

I have never felt so attacked.
Despite being a fully grown woman, Olivia Buckingham, 28, is exactly like seven-year-old Finley Rice in every other way.

Hmmm. I've got piles of big mending I've been putting off doing because until I get the sewing machine fixed it would all have to be done by hand.
Can't make this date, but I wonder if they'd be able to fix the bent bit in the machine for me in a future one?
