I'm #autistic. I'm a stealth #disasterbisexual #xennial.
I'm a perimenopausal part-time astrophysics student, full-time broadcast news flunky, with a gift for falling off (a) bikes when stationary, (b) shoes with anything narrower than a Doc Martens sole.
Mostly, I'm tired.
Happy Nearly the Weekend.
I'm #autistic. I am a #chaosbisexual younger #millennial.

I'm a lapsed physicist turned historian turned forecasting enthusiast. Also I test and document software now idk. But mostly I'm tired 😂

Happy Friday, happy timezone
I'm #autistic. I'm #alivingnitemare I'm #Millennial. I'm a freelance writer, who also started on my first book which may be out by the end of 2029. But mostly.. I'm TIRED. TIRED of my brain controlling me, but I carry on, what choice do I have. Happy Thursday(or whatever day you're reading this).

Ted hand sold me all three volumes of Crowded at Thought Bubble. I love their art immensely and I am SO excited for this to come out.

I might be quite good at the triathlon.

Alas, most people don't have the facilities. You can't practice for the 100m breaststroke in your bath, can't hone your competitive hall cleaning in a flat where every room's within five feet of the front door. Once again, the privileged would have an unfair starting advantage.

I don't think women not wanting to have children with men like them is part of their concern; women simply wouldn't have the choice.

Having had a lot of fun pondering my own answer to the question raised by the video below (HT @thebrainofchris.bsky.social), asking other people and watching them work it through, often unconsciously acting their thoughts out: how many skis would a dog wear anyway?

Oh my word. How knackering! How fab!

There are a couple of birds outside who appear to think it's (a) daylight, and/or (b) May. Or maybe they're just making the most of it not raining atm.

But an boi is looking particularly hansum these days. Hooman is merely sharing her good fortune with us, Parkin.

It's not like with bookshops, where they have instructions from your mum to check you for purchases from other bookshops and prevent you buying anything else, is it?

Unexpected late Xmas present from friend. The colours reminded her of me "for some reason". *sheepishly shoves drawers overflowing with purpley blue and grey tops shut*

Oh, gods, no, you need so much coordination! And the ability to hold your arms at weird and uncomfortable angles for long periods of time.

Heh. Way way back, I went to FAO Schwarz to get a Whatnot for a friend's birthday, and got to work the example muppet. It's really hard! (obviously, or everyone would do it) A little girl was fascinated by this muppet and me having a chat, but not quite convinced enough to talk to him herself.
The Muppet Whatnot Workshop
The Muppet Whatnot Workshop was an outlet of FAO Schwarz which allowed customers to design their own Muppet Whatnot from a series of bodies, hairstyles, eyes, noses, and costumes. The online store at ...

Whenever we went somewhere that had cuddly toys, my friends would pick one and demand I "make it come alive!" We had some excellent chats with bored or curious stuffies.

Every inanimate object I've ever personified has been made alive with the aim and spirit, if not the talent, shown here.
What's so amazing about Jim Henson as a puppeteer is that he could literally be explaining that Kermit is made out of felt and ping pong balls and yet Kermit still feels alive the whole time he's doing it

I try not to speak over/for trans people but as someone very much still unlearning bioessentialism and how to be less harmful, who ALSO has very *gendered* medical training my advice to other cis people is "Assume your strongly held opinions are based on utter biological cluelessness."

Either Athena isn't pulling her weight here, or she's showing off about how much stronger she is as a deity.

Also: Atlas seems to have cellulite.

My hygienist insists on asking hairdresser questions, while attacking me with pointy metal tools.
The upside to a 90 minute dental procedure this morning is that -unlike a 3 hour hair appointment - I don't feel any obligation to make devastatingly awkward and exhausting small talk... because I can't!!

THE DREAM!!! 😆
