yeah right now people are just playing with the features and getting each other but the proper use once it all settles is gonna be like... what people have been doing in the lead up to pfp stuff before this site was a thing

basically it's... a bluesky viewer is the best way I can describe it? It lets you do icon play and so on and so forth but it's only visible to other people using it and regular bluesky viewers don't get blasted by the horny furries in the horny furry layer

me with my character that turns people into bunnies and my other character who flattens people with a big cartoon hammer getting art of these things purely because I can make funny jokes out of them and not for kinks

yeah, I just added a different-timer-length version to Avida's path 'cause it seems that reform timers are broken right now and just end instantly instead of leaving the avatar changes in place so I can't just make it instant and use the reform timer to set duration per person

yeah I think that's what I'm gonna have to do
is mildly bothering 'cause those things use present tense as the verbs instead of past tense so it'll show as "transforming" rather than "transformed"

yeah it's supposed to be persistent for the length of the respawn timer specified in the catch request but it doesn't seem to be working? I'm not the only one to have noticed it so something's awry.

Cool, that's confirmed. There's definitely some sort of bug with the PONR things since that _should_ have changed your icon to a bunny for 10 minutes but it looks like it skipped the reform timer entirely

you can just make copies of nodes with different durations and have them branch off and send people down whatever branch suits their general tastes during the whole request/counterproposal step

the few times I've used pokes have been on "oh hey I recognise this person but I don't wanna be rude so I'll send them a poke and see if they poke me back before I throw an actual catch request at them"

the simplest solution would probably be some sort of "safeword" button (maybe with an "are you sure" type confirmation) that just resets an interaction and sets both characters back to the default state regardless of PONR, respawn timers and so on and so forth.

I've run into a thing where someone got to the end of a PONR path and it just skipped the respawn period entirely, dunno if it's 'cause its not the primary universe or what
early days though and this thing has really blown up, so there's gonna be teething issues

one of the paths I have for her is literally a single instant PONR node which I was hoping would just change their icon for the duration of the respawn timer

It's largely so you can have alternate timelines and have people eaten in each, there was a funny incident earlier where someone got like five catch requests simultaneously and the only way to do it was to have each of the preds eat them in different universes

Might need to do it in a different universe or something? Possibly a safeguard to avoid situations where, say, someone gets caught by an endo only prey then is eaten in turn by a digestive pred, which could cause problems and prefbreaking

you can just straight up set your profile to not allow catch requests, I did that with my bnuy
