Just a quick reminder that the Singularity is not near. Singularity and Super Intelligence and Artificial General Intelligence are Silicon Valley myths, fantasies dreamt up by tech bro billionaires who refuse to accept that digital technology is inherently fragile and vulnerable.

So thankful my father taught me being a good man has nothing to do with fist fights. And Boxing Day has nothing to do with maladjusted males trying to beat the crap out of each other.

Thanks - Prostate Cancer UK came up tops in my Google search for purple scrotum. Just a bit surprised discharge letter didn't mention scrotum or penis discolouration. And I guess I wasn't paying attention in biology when bruising was explained as blood moving through the skin from a point of injury.
