Der "Widerspruch" an den "Alternativmedien", wegen dem "schnell als Feind galt" war keine harmlose Quellkritik, sondern Vorwürfe, dass man "Terrorunterstützer", "Pro-Hamas" sei, etc. Also ganz klare Feindmarkierung.

Klassischer Fall von "every accusation is a confession".

It's great to live in a country (Canada, Japan, UK, France, Germany, Sweden, Italy, etc.) where citizens don't worry about if the next election will be canceled, if they will be allowed to register to vote, if they will have to stand in line for hours to vote, or if their vote will be counted.

Wohlgemerkt traf Klöckner diese Entscheidung entgegen der Empfehlungen des Auswärtigen Amts. Man fragt sich wirklich, wieso hier eine Politikerin in hauptsächlich repräsentativer Funktion auf Teufel komm raus mit diplomatischer Expertise und internationalem Recht brechen muss.

One of the interesting things this time around is just how hollow the whole thing sounds. In the past, people have been able to use the empty concept of electability to anoint and position the person they demanded, but now that Republicans are getting obliterated everywhere, that doesn't work.

r/analytics • IOh We just found out our AI has been making up analytics data for 3 months and I'm gonna throw up. Support So we've been using an Al agent since November to answer leadership questions about metrics. It seemed amazing at first fast answers, detailed explanations, everyone loved it. I just found out it's been hallucinating numbers this entire time. Our VP of sales made territory decisions based on data that didn't exist. Our CFO showed the board a deck with fake insights. The Al was just inventing plausible sounding percentages. I only caught it by accident when someone asked me to double check something. I started digging, and holy shit, it's bad.
