[Insider] Japan's Obsession With Punishing Foreigners is a Ticking Time Bomb - Unseen Japan
Japan's ruling class can't admit how badly it's failed the country. So it's blaming foreigners for all its problems instead.

Just incredible how often this is the correct piece of commentary for a Republican pundit's attitude about a Democrat victory

Think about how the left told Biden, and then Kamala, that their campaign would 100% lose if they did the exact opposite of what Mamdani's would be.

They literally plugged their ears and said shut the fuck up, and then she lost by doing the exact opposite, in every way on every issue, of Mamdani.

The blue no matter who people, who spent years telling the left to enjoy the camps for telling them that transphobia and genocide are wildly unpopular election-losing positions, ended up voting for a sexual predator *not* running as a democrat who was endorsed by Trump, Musk, and Miller. Who lost.

The entire pundit class has convinced people for so long that their “analysis” was somehow necessary and valuable when in reality it was just a con game to manufacture consent for bias-confirming “strategies” that only benefited the capitalist class and guaranteed pundits career security.

The solution to the male loneliness epidemic is attending a local Democratic Party canvassing event.
WOW. 81% of women 18-29 voted for Mamdani, 80% for Sherril, and 78% for Spanberger.

Gen Z women aren't playing around.

basically every 2024 truism is dead. Trump did not build a lasting multiracial coalition or turn young men into committed Republicans. You don’t need to cave on trans rights to win. The pundits have nothing left to tell you.

The real problem with the democratic party is quite simply that they forgot that laughter is more powerful than screams. Mamdani is like rain to a desert and reminding us all that it’s possible to win and have fun at the same time; it’s not all scolds and doom and pyrrhic victories for once.

their plainly stated goal is to starve forty million people until they get what they want, which is to rip health care away from millions more

that this is too monstrous for most news organizations to tell the truth about does not change the facts
The USDA sent an email to grocery stores telling them they are prohibited from offering special discounts to customers affected by the SNAP funding lapse.
I'm aware of at least 2 stores that had offered struggling customers a discount, then withdrew it after receiving this email
