I don’t know who needs to hear this, but fighting fascism has not, will not, and will never be “comfortable” or without massive pain. If discomfort is the limit of your actions, you’ve resigned yourself to hospice care and have no hope of survival.

Donald Trump was right: Democrats are terrible negotiators and we deserve better.

Remove @schumer.senate.gov as minority leader, immediately. He is either incompetent or living in a different reality from the rest of us.

We need a new party. The democrat brand is done.

So republicans just got landslided like 5 days ago in the middle of a shutdown and our response is to just… stop?

cool. cool.

$40B to Argentina that was not approved by congress and which the president doesn't have the unilateral authority to disburse, vs $9B in SNAP funds that were approved by congress and which the president is legally required, and has been legally ordered, to disburse.

Trump hates Americans.

Horrible margins for republicans. Good.

I like how Cuomo, who doesn’t live in New York City, is winning the places that kinda also aren’t really part of NYC.

So after ten fundraising texts per day, no reminder from @democrats.org that there’s an election on in Pennsylvania today? @padems.org

The real problem with the democratic party is quite simply that they forgot that laughter is more powerful than screams. Mamdani is like rain to a desert and reminding us all that it’s possible to win and have fun at the same time; it’s not all scolds and doom and pyrrhic victories for once.

If the dude could drop $130m as a political favor at the drop of a hat, we are undertaxing him by at least $130m.

So the sad thing that the Platner discovery underlines about our toxic culture of attention, and which many still fail to grasp, is that this actually makes him more likely to win; viewed through an attention-is-all-that-matters lens.

It’s the same exact reason that Trump keeps winning.

Trump is going to take the 230M he decided he is "owed" from DOJ and use it to fund his ballroom project. Curious that the numbers are the same, no? He also mentioned donating the DOJ proceeds "to a charity."

Ahem.

EXCLUSIVE: One Saturday afternoon in October, my phone lit up with a notification.

I glanced down at the message.

“Anna, Lindsey Halligan here,” it began.

So began my text exchange with the woman who is prosecuting the president's perceived political enemies.
