. @savitakalhan.bsky.social tells us all about That Asian Kid during today’s #Campmas!

Jeevan is doing badly in English lit. His teacher dislikes him intensely & he’s convinced that he’s the victim of racial prejudice. Can he stand up for what's right?

Interesting that it’s the sports stars like Chris Hoy who understand the concept of fairness. They realise that readers (and the actual authors) are being cheated if a celebrity pretends to have written a book penned by somebody else. societyofauthors.org/2024/12/09/c...

My go to these days is Ajay and the Mumbai Sun by Varsha Shah. Exquisite writing, rip roaring MG adventure, beautifully drawn characters and a unique setting. Best of all, books 2 and 3 just get better and better.

Saying that I'm against the killing of thousands of civilians in Gaza, the majority women & children, doesn't make me 'pro-Palestinian' and it doesn't make me 'antisemitic'. It makes me a humanitarian against the actions of the Israeli Government and army. STOP THE KILLING.
