I feel like in the years since then we've only learned that yeah, a lot of people would be ok with a degraded hellscape ending to all human history if it meant their enemies suffer even slightly.

I saw this as a 13 year old when it came out, and I was fascinated by it. Ever since, I have had fantasies about living in a post-nuclear world.

I have contingency plans, a bug out bag and a list of the closest people I want to take revenge on should we get a long enough warning 😀
