After a few rough starts, so far the power is back on. Feeling so grateful. Was getting cold and I think the rabbit was going to eat or wear me soon. Safe for now as she returns to her heap of hay. Love you.

Sitting here listening to the dehydrator make chips out of bananas. Do I hear a machine gently whirring as it does its job, or do I hear screaming anguish as the bananas slowly dry to death?

Chickadees are so lovely. I was whistling with this one and it tried vocalizing while eating a seed and the call came out so funnily, just like a person talking with their mouth full. Made my day. Love you.
