The term that makes sense to me is "evangelical capitalists." They believe if you can afford something you deserve it no matter how you got the money and if you can't buy it you don't deserve it, even food & medicine, no matter what external forces prevent you from having the money.

I want them to be like Mitch McConnell in Obama's 2nd term. They all witnessed it. It's a great playbook for being a horribly annoying pain in the ass roadblock. It's not rocket science. I'm not asking them to break the law. I'm asking them to be as good as him at using the rulebook to obstruct.

I know I'm "lucky" to live in a blue state where my reps largely align with my voting, but I'm imploring those who have GOP reps to call. As craven as that party is, they can't want an end to democracy as we know it b/c that means an end to their jobs and power, and we know they are self-serving.
