Taking a break from shoveling snow. Our one neighbor was nice enough to snow blow the entry of our drive way! That helps a lot.

Our first big snow of the year. May get 10". It is not supposed to stop until 7am tomorrow. I am very glad 😊 I did not sign up for OT this weekend. I like the snow better if I do not have to drive in it.

I wouldn't have been able to comply on the German sweet treats anyway. Dad's side of the family decided we were American not German. It is kind of interesting what little bits still hung on. Some of this was a safety thing I think.

I was having racing thoughts all Thanksgiving. That is a schizophrenia thing. It makes it hard to focus. My portion of Thanksgiving dinner took me forever due to that. Also making it so I cannot sleep now.

Kind of an interesting read. I have been curious if sauerkraut radish/horseradish fall under bland white people food?

White people’s bland food isn’t just an internet meme. It’s a centuries-long obsession
Humans love flavor. Archeologists have found evidence that hunter-gatherers in Stone Age Europe used garlic mustard seeds (a broccoli relative with a mustardy, peppery kick) to season stews 6,000 year...

My Mom has lots of issues with Grandpa, but on some things he could be pretty cool. I have had this thought before. Grandpa was born 1911. He was okay with Grandma going into being machinist. There are guys now who would be less okay with it. In fact he helped

Maybe this is not accurate on the amount spent on jewelry. I am so glad I was not raised in an expensive jewelry as gifts type family. My Mom's wedding ring is unpolished silver and rough because marriage is not easy. I think the diamond obsession is barbaric in a lot of ways.

Montfort had a problem with a deer poacher, I guess it would already be like 10 years ago. They were across the street from us. They were just killing the deer to kill them. They were not eating them. When you went down the one back road along the sides it was scattered with remains of deer.

Well I was foolish today. I scored some OT today. After shift I was thinking go work out in the gym, but it is so warm today went with hike in woods. Totally spaced out it was bow season. I get out a ways on the trail and then I hear some gunshots. I second guess myself and keep going. Awhile

Supper tonight. Kid me would be horrified I am eating cabbage. There was a guy I went to school with who said when he was living purely off his art sales he just ate cabbage soup everyday. It was all he could afford. In case people need cheap meal ideas. I don't know his soup recipe though.

Will nasal vaccines consign injections to history?
