World. Some of the WTF component is he used to be an ER doctor. This is how he responded to treating gun shot wounds in the ER.

My one MAGA uncle is pretty scary that way. He has spent thousands on assault style guns. He keeps half loaded and strewn about his house at all times. He was also sending his sons individually to buy ammo, so he is above the allowed purchase limit on ammo. He is stock piling for the end of the

After Korean war. She was actually the widow of one of the kami kazi pilots of Pearl Harbor. Grandpa was one of the only family members who could talk to her at family get togethers. He had learned some Japanese in the war. He said he had done horrible things in the war too.

I am not sure if a certain big archeologists skeets on here are directed at me or not. I find it sad she appears to harbor anger towards German culture. My Grandpa fought the Japanese in WWII. He would not care that I like sushi. When one of his brother's in law brought back a Japanese wife

Great Grandma's sister who never married and lived by herself had her last name changed to something more English. Mom has a story from her side of Great Grandpa (English) getting the crap beat out of him because he was defending German neighbors from this.

Back to the ethnic food thing she was refusing was Hmong food. Because they hunt weird things like squirrels and eat them. My Grandpa survived the Depression by hunting squirrels with a slingshot, his parents would beat him if he came back with nothing. I guess I am having tired rambling.

My team. She also went off on me one time about why should we be killing ourselves making sure everything is done exactly to protocol in the clinic. They could care less about us. The doctors, the patients, they could care less, why should we put ourselves out there like that.

Sweets. There is maybe implication I should forgo my lunch and bring German sweet treat for her.

She went savage another time on me when I put in for high fives for my clinic team. We had had High fives were peer appreciation pins Gundersen used to do. That I needed to do something real for.

Agreed that was bad, and she didn't like that either. She said there was something worse than that in Norwegian cooking. I can't remember what she called it. It involved leaving a bucket of blood outside and letting it ferment and congeal. She said if you bring ethnic food it should only be

So Wednesday night I thought I heard someone say outside that the old Norwegian woman may have lost family to Germany in WWII. To clarify she did not say it was that. It just is a food that gives her the heebie jeebies. I pointed out Norwegians eat lutevisk (sp?) Fish fermented in lye. She

They performed at the La Crosse Center well before I worked there. I guess when they came to La Crosse they wanted to break every mirror in the dressing room. They asked the Center and arranged for payment before doing it.

It was kind of funny. I could hear in the area she was working going off about "God damn Germans!"

I will make the case sauerkraut really does not fit in well with the bland white people food paradigm. An old lady of Norweigian background who worked in the clinic ripped me a new one for eating sauerkraut for my lunch. She incidently was big into Tucker Carlson and MAGA stuff.

Kind of a wonky throw. I like what the glazes did on this one. This one ran but not as bad as the other.

My glazes really ran on this one. They had to bust it off the shelf. I still kind of like what the glazes did though.

I kind of like what the inside of this little bowl thing did. I should have continued the sgraffito flowers more fully around it.
