Even if you were to somehow ignore his politics, Yarvin is just not a thinker on the same level as anyone else at this conference. Everyone else is a Distinguished Professor and the bios have to describe him as a 'blogger' with one book on an obscure right wing press. They may as well get Sneako.

Completely serious question: How the hell do people come up with postdoc projects? I'm on my third attempt to find some throughline to pitch but I have no idea how determinate the research has to be, am I outlining a speculative research program or "here's the book I want to write, pay me?"
