Liberation insists on what could yet be, breaking down what is. And we must never stop insisting... From the river to the sea, Palestine will be free.
I asked the third question here about the role of liberalism today, and I feel that the answer obviously explains Starmer and the recapture of the labour party - but probably also explains what's at stake in the Green leadership election. Liberalism is the great anti-politics of our time

Security pro tip: if you find a USB key on the ground somewhere, DO NOT plug it in to your home computer.

Take it to the office and plug it in there. They have way better software that will mitigate any threats.

Green Capitalism was never a *good thing*. It also never meant an end to fossil fuels.

It’s important to understand the transition economy is both a tendency within capitalism and a class fraction.

The listed green economy has an annual revenue pool of US$5 trillion in 2023.

I am sharing a Palestinian account every day and today is Rania. Rania has two tiny children, Khalid and Maria. Before the war she was an educator. Her house was destroyed, Maria is suffering from malnutrition and her husband Muhammed has injuries that he needs help treating.

Going to try using this place more. To start my article on rejecting economistic framings of climate justice, and affirming its anti capitalist and anti colonial foundations was recently republished by Green Agenda (without my knowledge)

Not a commodity, climate justice - Green Agenda
A dominant view of climate justice advocates for richer nations to pay developing ones to do the work of “solving” climate change. But this renders climate justice a mere commodity, and perpetuates th...

The day that I stop reading “I’m OOO today” as “I’m object oriented ontology today” and start reading it as “I’m out of office today” is the day it’s all over. At that point I will consider going to grad school.

Having umbrellas at a protest makes an interesting difference, so much harder for the media cameras to capture faces

That being said, why are so many protesters not masked and filming each other!

Historical distance gives people the cover to insist they are more radical than they are. If you can't support Palestine now you wouldn't support the ANC in South Africa, the Algerian revolution, the slave revolts, or the Hatian revolution. You'd be a figure of disgust in a history book

Where else would a Moral Philosopher like Singer be, but using the actions of Hamas to obscure, naturalise and ultimately excuse the background violence of the settler colonial project.
