I was just thinking of this quote by Kurt Vonnegut the other night - “You meet saints everywhere. They can be anywhere. They are people behaving decently in an indecent society.”
There are so many people living lives of quiet dignity despite horrific medical news or poverty or tragedy where every day they still wake up and try to be good people in the world even as the world pushes against them and it makes me even angrier at the absolute shitheads that rule over things

Half a century of movies and decades of video games about how Nazis were so absolutely and irredeemably evil that killing them on sight was a moral obligation and fast forward to 2025 where suggesting we do what our grandparents did to these pieces of shit could land you on a watch list.
