Well that wasn’t on my bingo sheet for today. @mrjamesob.bsky.social mentioned my all time musical hero @nikkershaw.bsky.social on his show today, albeit only with regards to his famous 80s haircut. It’s about time for a Full Disclosure surely??!?

@mrjamesob.bsky.social just listened to your full disclosure interview with Mark Constantine of Lush, a man of whom I previously knew nothing but now have the greatest respect for. What a wonderful man! Thanks for revealing his quiet, kind, generous soul. So heartwarming that success in business /1

Compared to obvious wronguns like Trump, Johnson and Farage, Starmer is a decent man. But he’s held to different standards. Trump was best pals with Epstein for years, God knows what he got up to, but none cares. Starmer appoints someone who knew Epstein and OMG!!!!!!

Every word. Let’s use the public mood of revulsion to usher in new, stronger standards in public life, transparency and give voice to the powerless. Private meetings between the powerful behind closed doors is no way to run a democracy.

Ok UK media - oh so scandalised by Mandelson - when are you going to be scandalised by US interference in our democracy? Epstein, Farage, Bannon, Vance, Thiel, Musk, Trump, Brexit, Heritage Foundation, the funding of far right populism to collapse our govts….??
After you’ve helped their collapse?
Remember the controversy when Obama was accused of intervening in UK politics? This is the current US government openly seeking to undermine liberal democracy in Europe.

Yes, quite. It's the biggest scandal of this administration, so far, probably. It's an average Tuesday under Johnson.
OK this makes me extremely angry. Has everyone forgotten the massive profiteering from thousands of avoidable pandemic deaths?? The unconstitutional suspension of parliament to force through an act of nationalist destruction that cost our children their future??
“It’s potentially the biggest political scandal of this century”

This isn’t some anonymous tip. This is sworn testimony, under penalty of perjury, from someone who said Trump threatened to kill her if she exposed Epstein’s sexual abuse.

@mrjamesob.bsky.social here’s Tina Brown’s take in full. #epsteinfiles
"Mega-wealth so often erodes a moral compass. Epstein’s appeal was an insidious gift of permission. Girls, tax evasion, private places to play. An underground railway of upper-echelon decadence."

If billionaire Epstein, his paedo island, and his billionaire network of ultra wealthy men, who use their money to remain above the law, and to bribe or threaten politicians and govts, isn't enough to make you realise that billionaires should not exist, what will it take?

Or to put it another way...

#Epstein

bsky.app/profile/mark...
The Epstein emails should really end the debate over whether society should have billionaires. "Do you want there to be a class of people so powerful they can fuck your kids and no one will even try to do anything" seems like an easy sell if everyone in politics wasn't trying to get on their payroll
