there's a counter-argument here that because coke is coke, they can get away with it. probably true! how many brands do you think could, though? how many times? how many times do you think you could see "codd-coca" or pikachu with teeth or mickey mouse with a pointy nose before real damage is done?
it's wild to me that coke made an ad with ai that has logo inconsistencies. this is, maybe, the most iconic brand in the world, with maybe the most iconic logo. disregarding brand safety and consistency guidelines for a logo like that in order to test drive technology nobody wants is baffling

this is the reason why splatoon 1-3 getting panned for soundtrack awards always galls me. they put together literally TWENTY DAMN TWO BANDS for the games, each of which have multiple songs, as well as their own distinct, unique sound
while we're talking about games, Hades 2 should have gotten more awards for score/soundtrack/sound design because it literally has a 3-piece rock band inside of it that has 4 different song choices that they play whenever you do the boss and I've never gotten tired of them

this is true and i agree but i also think it bears mentioning that all these apps do have their own vibes and in my experience, bluesky's is generally rancid. lots of ppl here just wanna fight/scold/take people in bad faith and few here refrain from feeding the trolls!
Just a general reminder that your experience on any social media app depends a lot on what *you* make of it. It is easy to find some annoying people on any platform. But platforms like Bluesky also give *you* way more power to control your own experience and to fix whatever annoys you.
