We just deactivated our Twitter account and wow, that's a weight lifted!

Musk is a problem and he has been for a long time. We've been shifting our weight to Bluesky for a while, but we're no longer content to lurk on the other site anymore. (1/4)

this seems specifically designed to break mail-in voting (where deadlines are defined by postmark)
As of 12/24/25, USPS changed policy on when they postmark mail. Mail dropped off is no longer guaranteed a same-day postmark. Tax returns & other time-sensitive items are now stamped when they reach a regional processing center, which may be days later. Plan deadlines accordingly to avoid penalties.

America's richest 10% now hold 60% of the nation's wealth.

The bottom half of America? It holds just 6%.

Wealth inequality is eating this country alive.

All of this, but especially back to the AI debate too.

As a writer, I can feel in my gut when something works and clicks, but that's because I've spent thousands of hours practicing and getting it wrong.

I've seen how my work does/doesn't resonate. When you're generating... how do you learn?
The act of writing is *thinking*. If you do not allow yourself to think thoughts that feel wrong, you will never get a feel for what feels *right*.

“He raped me.”

“Donald J Trump had raped her along with Jeffrey Epstein.”

“She was found with her head ‘blown off’… there was no way it was a suicide.”

Now we’re starting to see why Trump was hiding the Epstein files, and it probably gets much worse.

The regime has announced two proposed rules intended to make it extremely difficult (if not impossible) for trans youth to receive the healthcare they need.

We expect robust legal challenges to these hate-filled proposals and are actively engaged with organizations on the frontlines of this fight.

The American people have had enough of this two-tiered justice system where the ultrarich never face consequences.

Ask your GOP Members of Congress what they will do to uphold the law they voted for, ensure the release of all the Epstein files, and give Epstein's survivors the justice they deserve.
The Epstein cover-up continues. Let's keep up the pressure on Republicans until ALL the files are released.
Trump, his GOP enablers, and the Pam Bondi-led DOJ still think that – if they stall long enough – voters will forget about Jeffrey Epstein's crimes and the role Donald Trump, and some Republican megad...

The area around Brown University -- which is also where I grew up and now live -- is quaint and picturesque. A postcard version of a New England college town.

But I never thought "this can't happen here." Because there is nowhere in the U.S. where this can't happen.

A fun look back on the year hits different when it’s paired with propaganda for Trump’s deportation machine.

Fortunately, it’s easy to share your favorite music without doing free promotion for a corporation that recruits for ICE. What songs, albums, or artists helped you keep going in 2025?

"Still, he’d have loved me at my most disgusting."

This work reads like a deeply personal recounting, ripe with details demanding to be taken as history. Fascinatingly sincere imagery.

As somebody who has struggled with suicidal thoughts, this tender presentation of that vulnerability hits deep.
