📢 “A huge amount of men between the age of 15 and 50 will not pass on their genes. They will effectively die out of the gene pool ... Should society intervene?” Steven Bartlett asked last year.
Two top podcasters have identified a global decline. The problem, they say, is women

I wonder how often people tried to get Epstein to bankroll some new "secret rich white men club" by inventing stories about one he wasn't invited to.
From the Epstein files: were Paul Volker and Tom Brokaw really members of a secret society with a "no minorities or women allowed" rule? Brokaw is still around -- worth asking him!

ICE agents aren’t getting punished for the murders we already have on tape; the solution is, record more murders

the 1988 movie DOMINO, a vaguely dreamlike erotic thriller with Brigitte Nielson, uses the THX theme as part of it's score

So sad that Dante Spinotti ended up here. Dude’s 80s/90s run was impressive. Now it’s all “your ass used to be beautiful” vibes.

“With a judicial finger in the constitutional dike” is an incredible closer from a federal judge.
Federal judge has ordered the release of Liam Ramos (the bunny hat boy) and his father. A brief and rather remarkable order. Clearly written to be shared widely, so please do. storage.courtlistener.com/recap/gov.us...

In the past 24 hours I have watched Elaine May’s A NEW LEAF and THE HEARTBREAK KID and so I have elevated to a higher plane of consciousness.

Such a great movie! Every actor in this movie is exceptionally good. THE BIG RISK has the veneer of a crime thriller but it's really about friendships changing and decaying with age, and how the weight of our choices can become impossible to bear. Also, it suggests that killing people might be bad.
Going back to the Lino Ventura and Jean-Paul Belmondo crime caper well yet again tonight. Their first collab, THE BIG RISK (1960), would probably be more widely hailed as a landmark if it hadn't come out the week after BREATHLESS.

ICE are running around in the streets using facial recognition on random people and telling anyone filming them they're a domestic terrorist and Democrats solution is to equip every ICE agent with their very own body-worn surveillance camera

An entire community of thousands, here legally, having been demonized with deranged lies about eating pets, is about to be arbitrarily DECLARED illegal so they can be forcibly ethnically cleansed. I don’t want to hear one more fucking word about comparisons to Nazi Germany being overwrought.

recently learned about “dek bass”, a sound system culture in rural West Bengal, using cassette decks and homemade systems, and it’s remarkable because 1) the music and equipment are sick and 2) the DJ always looks like he’s being briefed on a national security issue
