One caution I'd offer as everyone goes through these emails is that *Jeffrey Epstein* (of all people) saying something in an email does not automatically make it true!

As @rbreich.bsky.social notes billionaires and their families own X, Paramount, CBS, Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp, the Washington Post, Amazon, MGM, Fox News, the Wall Street Journal and New York Post, and could soon own Warner Bros and CNN

And they are all Trump supporters

Something that’s so striking in these emails is how…unimpressive Epstein is. He comes off as a pompous, sub-literate lech. Yes everyone is so mortifyingly solicitous of him! All fawning and flattery! Why?????

None of this trump and Epstein stuff is surprising and yet seeing it in print still feels jarring. it’s easy to be cynical but we absolutely don’t know what will break through until it does.

AH!

Dishwashers exist primarily to make living with traditional dinner ware easier. It's the anti-single-use-item machine.

The pods are like "but what if we force some single-use items into your routine?"

I think that's why I hate them so much.

Update on that #ILTV research: I've decided that my propensity for writing long-winded projects that spiral out of control work well for fiction without hard limits. Not so much for potential scientific articles.

Ironically I'm making the Powerpoint early to guide the writeup, so it's short.

I've been doing some independent literary research on #ILTV, specifically just the Revolution arc, as I need to get it done by February next year or a university event.

The good news is I've extracted some interesting themes!

Bad news is, I may have accidentally started a graduate thesis early.
