Even the most well intentioned and "uniformed" studios/publishers etc needs to feel a flame so hot when they touch on this that they're scarred for life, I'm sorry.
The collateral damage being a studio's *reputation* is nothing compared to the creatives whose work was stolen just to replace them.

Many people are rightly pointing out that misanthropy is core to AI bros' ethos, but I also can't help but wonder if more actual humans were involved in making this commercial if it would have been less bleak. More humans involved would have meant more outside perspectives (and warnings)
So I watched this commercial out of a desire to rubberneck and the thing I thought was that as much as the AI sucked, the idea for the commercial was terrible in the first place.
This is a since-deleted LinkedIn post from the marketing agency that created the since-deleted AI-generated McDonalds Christmas ad, and all I can think of is how the energy consumption must've been about on par with a small suburb or heavy industrial load to produce 30 seconds of slop everyone hated
