Why is abuse the tradeoff to staying informed?
I went back to X for 3 mos before the election just to stay informed. It was so abusive.
The fact that I've been on Bluesky for 1 yr without needing Prozac means that I can stay informed WHILE staying safe & sane.
The tradeoff is an abusive con.

Let’s be clear: we are headed for a shutdown because Republicans, who control the entire government, can’t govern effectively unless it involves taking away people’s health insurance, denying food to hungry kids, or driving up the costs of groceries, utilities, and healthcare.
