It shows Schumer no longer has the caucus.
It doesn't actually matter if Chuck Schumer votes for this or not.

If he can't keep his caucus unified to protect healthcare for over 10 million Americans, he should resign as leader.

This is what I kept thinking when walking home earlier.

Democrats need to show voters that having Democratic control of the Senate makes a difference.

Cutting this deal only tells voters that it doesn't.
2026 prospects do not feel as bright,

given that caving now will undoubtedly launch and strengthen intra-/third- party challenges,

as Dems again remind voters that, regardless of the stakes, they don't, and won't, fight their corner.

Americans can’t afford this deal.

Democrats can fight AND win — just like we did in our budget battle in Michigan.

A promise isn’t a deal. Don’t settle.

An important point, even if your Senator is not on list:
Shaheen (D-NH), Ossoff (D-GA), Peters (D-MI), Kelly (D-AZ), Hassan (D-NH), Welch (D-VT), Baldwin (D-WI), and Slotkin (D-MI).
Retirees and bad instincts (Plus GA and AZ)
Sounds like the squishes in the senate caucus are ready to pull the plug with no ACA changes. This is real. If you want to register your opinion you shld call yr senator in the next hour. They not only want to reopen w/nothing. They want cover from their colleagues who still want to hold out.

21 min ago: Senate Democrats entered a caucus meeting, with many moderates remaining tight-lipped about their posture on the possible vote on advancing the House-passed continuing resolution later this evening. Republicans need five more Democrats to cross the aisle to move forward.

Democrats just swept the off-year elections -- and not just in blue states -- a resounding rejection of Republicans' authoritarian bullshit. It is an insult to Democratic voters, marketplace enrollees, and everyone who turned out on Tuesday for Schumer and Jeffries to cave.

Blue State AGs should open a multistate task force to investigate and prosecute every single assault and attempted murder. Haul them into court without their masks to face justice directly.
According the victim's attorney, body camera footage captured the officer saying, “Do something, bitch,” before leaping out of the car and shooting her multiple times. Another officer asked, “Hey, what happened?” The first pointed to his camera, “Hey, don’t speak. You’re good.”

Notable points in Judge Perry's remarks in Illinois v Trump National Guard case.⤵️

Judge:
1. Federalized deployment of National Guard not quelling civil unrest. Instead, it is "likely to lead to civil unrest."

2. State and local community policing not well geared for out of state Guards.

You voted for a felon with 34 convictions.

He was found liable for sexual assault, staged a coup, and hid classified docs in his bathroom.

Now he’s trying to finish the job and dismantle democracy.

So don’t show up on TV crying “law and order.”

You don’t get to lecture anyone about legality.
