The idea that an election is compromised is part of the plan to compromise elections.

139 House reps and 8 Senators voted to sustain objections to AZ and/or PA counts. THATS SO MANY.

I had forgotten how many until I looked it up earlier this week.

🚨HOLY CRAP. The Trump admin just took a SLEDGEHAMMER to due process, largely eliminating the Board of Immigration Appeals process and MANDATING DISMISSAL of ALL appeals (which cost $1,000 thanks to OBBBA) filed after tomorrow unless a majority of the BIA votes to hear the case.

Sharing my comments from yesterday's introduction of this legislation: For months, federal agents have terrorized our community under the color of law and the cloak of anonymity.

Absolutely insane that there is a Republican Senator who committed the largest Medicare fraud in American history and they still can do this without media batting an eyelash.

ICE at the polls! Bannon is basically yelling “fire” in a crowded theater here. His objective is to cause chaos (and suppress votes on the left). And it’s already working.

This threat works on multiple levels and doesn’t have to be “real” to serve its purpose.

Let me explain & offer some advice.

A lot of people cannot just start a paid newsletter or become freelancers to sustain their careers. The sports, metro, and international desks did work that requires *team* resources, like legal checks, documents, access to archives, and long-term beat experience.

Floored by this story. A man wrote a pollite email to a federal prosecutor objecting to the deportation of an Afghan seeking asylum. DHS responded with an administrative warrant to get the man's info from Google, then visited his home to intimidate him.

It’s day 64 of the ICE occupation of MSP.

Today ICE officers once again arrested observers at gunpoint, caused lockdowns of neighborhood schools, and harassed people on the street simply for their skin color.

Nothing has changed, despite the rhetoric from “leaders.”

Finding my 3-times great grandfather, Henry Rucker, registering to vote in 1867 was life changing. He did so at great risk to life and livelihood, but he did it anyway.

Honored to commemorate the day that those rights were Constitutionally enshrined, still sacred & paid for at great sacrifice.

ICE can’t get judicial warrants not because the process is complicated, they don’t have probable cause. They could not swear it in an oath. It is that fucking simple and any reporting on statements from them should say so.

Yeah this is what infuriates me (and it's not just about the Post). What's the point of documenting all the lies if you're going to continue covering him as a regular political figure?
Sullivan is great and right. But it's been five years since the Post documented that this guy lied 30,000 times in one term, and it's had zero effect on how Trump's claims are treated, and the only plausible solution left is, overwhelmingly, that they would prefer to tell lies and help him tell lies
“The idea that Trump is ordering ICE to soften up — whether at protests or in yanking people out of their homes or by rearranging the hierarchy — is hard to believe, and in fact, should not be believed.”
