(LATE DIAGNOSED) grade one autistic, master in languages (according to my grandma and my psychologist), atheist (but not the hateful kind), poster of weird stuff and shitposts, slang non user, spanish and english speaker, obscure music lover.
sounds like me and my dad, he has some very noticeable autistic traits and is obsessed to the brink with spiritual and conspiracy stuff (and fixing machines).
i also thought i was normal even though i was obsessed with vocaloids as a kid (and i still am).
It's a great cosmic joke that neurodivergence both runs in families and gets diagnosed based on parent reports. I was diagnosed at 30 because a man who has eaten potatoes every day for 57 years and a woman who collects loose buttons decided I was a perfectly normal child.

Criticizing a disabled person for feeling any way whatsoever about their own disability... by using "internalized ableism" as a reason... is victim blaming and invalidation.

bruh, this is just maksing enforced on everyone (including non nerodivergents).
"Store employees are now required to smile if they are within 10 feet of a shopper.

They also must make eye contact with and wave to or greet the customer.

If they’re within four feet, the employee should ask how the customer’s day is going or if they need help."

🙄 Won't stop the boycott, y'all.
Target is now requiring its employees to smile more
As the holiday season fast approaches, Target is urging its employees to add a little more “jolly” to their work routine.

could not agree more.
Strength training is political. We have a right-wing which has taken over physical fitness spaces, and hijacked “warrior culture”.

We need a muscular progressivist visions. We need to be strong to build the world we want.

Autistic folks: "But your kids are here now? And we share traits with your kids. We can help you both?

Grievance parents: "Nope, nope, we prefer to be miserable & angry."

Waking up and choosing violence today.

The New York Times is once again running a former friend where the bottom line is “I don’t like RFK but at least he’s trying to help out the parents of children with autism.”

No, he is not

They call it “support”.

But what they mean is compliance.

They call it “resilience”.

But what they mean is silence.

They call it “inclusion”.

But what they mean is performance.

So much of the narrative aroundNeurodiversity Inclusion” is nonsense.

Put our voices first.

Alarming report on FDA political interference. Scientists are being asked to find data supporting predetermined conclusions on autism treatments, vaccines, SSRIs - the opposite of how science works.

We need evidence-based regulation, not regulation-based evidence.

Current and former FDA staff said the level of involvement of political officials in nitty-gritty regulatory matters is unprecedented.

Why yes. Of course, I am autistic.

It's NOT because I take Tylenol.
It's NOT because I get vaccinated.
It's NOT a f—king "disease".

IT'S JUST HOW MY BRAIN F—KING WORKS.

Horrifying story. This deserves international coverage, as does Israel releasing an 18 year-old Palestinian with autism today.

Israel has banned released Palestinians from talking w/ media. It’s also stopped Palestinians from celebrating released prisoners in the West Bank.

When the government says “there are too many children with autism” and then eliminates the entire special education department, what they’re really saying is:

“We don’t want to support them.”
“We don’t value them.”
“We’d rather erase them than educate them.”

That’s not leadership. That’s cruelty.

Every time someone talks about “curing” autism, what they’re really saying is:

That autism is a disease
That we are broken
That we shouldn’t exist

It’s not just wrong - it’s dehumanising

We’re not a problem to be solved.
We’re real, valid humans

Why is that so hard to see?

Autistic truth makes people uncomfortable because it’s not performative.

We name what’s broken without decorating it.

It’s not rudeness.

It’s clarity.

And clarity is sacred.
