Trump has Project 2025.

We need Project 2000. In 2000, DHS didn't exist. You could cross the border into Canada or Mexico with just a driver's license. The USCG was part of Commerce. ICE didn't exist, the INS and Customs Service did. Let's put things back to 2000. Let's Make America Great Again!

Bill Clinton has to turn himself in. Bill Gates has to turn himself in. Noam Chomsky and Matt Groening have to turn themselves in. How much longer are they going to be safe outside of official custody?

Just 2 thoughts: Dawkins was right about genes being the fundamental units of selection, and Gould was right about Dawkins being an asshole.

Remember how Texas cops tried to find an abortion patient by using data from an automatic license plate reader (ALPR) that gave them access to over 83,000 cameras across the country? I sure do!

If my stocks are up, but the dollar is down, are my stocks really up, or have they stayed the same while my wages got devalued?

I would like for wealthy people excited for tax cuts to sign a piece of paper acknowledging that every dollar they get in tax breaks is going to be paid for by someone else…either someone not getting healthcare or SNAP or some future person paying higher taxes to pay the interest on our new debt.

Hey America. You need to know something:

This level of corruption IS NOT NORMAL.

Don’t ever believe that it is.

I feel bad for the Qatari intelligence workers who will have to listen to the inane conversations surveilled on the new bribe-jet.

Automobile dependence erodes public health in many ways: blunt force trauma (#1 cause for children and young adults), air pollution (CVD, asthma), noise pollution (QoL, dementia) but perhaps the most pernicious is that it has almost completely displaced walking. www.sciencedaily.com/releases/201...
Less than 25 percent of Americans walk for more than ten minutes continuously in a typical week
Many people in the U.S. do not walk, bike or engage in other forms of active transportation, missing an important opportunity to improve their cardiovascular health, concludes a new study.

there really is no alternative to tearing up CBP and ICE root and branch
A US citizen with a learning disability who has just suffered a medical emergency asks a CBP officer for directions outside the emergency room. He ends up detained in an icebox for ten days and has the assistant secretary of DHS lying about him to the public at large. popular.info/p/us-citizen...

If SCOTUS wants POTUS to have "super immunity", they should also put a limit on pardon power only to the effect that it can't be used to pardon crimes of the Administration.

Immunity can protect POTUS, but must be balanced to protect the People.

An opinion I am developing while doing this project is that if your city has a separate committee for "Equestrian" anything then you need to be immediately absorbed into the nearest city without one.
Update: as of today I am officially 50% done with this very long webscraping project.

Also, in case you were wondering, since January of 2008, the city of Los Angeles has held 10,227 public meetings for which there are Agendas available. Which is a thing I know now.
Working on some web scraping stuff for data collection and I keep having to remind myself that web developers don't write their webpages with the ease of scraping them in mind 😅😅
