This shows the truth about water and who gets the Lions share. Also note that "Irrigation" has been changed to "consumptive use", in an attempt to insulate the irrigators from criticism perhaps, or maybe to make it more difficult to see just where the water goes?

These vulnerable birds have to cope with many threats but some good work by dedicated volunteers around Australia's southern shoreline is making a difference.
