EXCLUSIVE: allies of Keir Starmer say they have never seen him so peeved, and that he spent all of Friday saying "oooh I'm VERY annoyed at myself!"

They added he's really beating himself up right now and that's worse than any formal punishment parliament could give so they shouldn't bother probably

Cabinet Office minister Josh Simons commissioned PR firm to investigate journalists and their sources

Why? Because they were digging into the dark money behind Labour Together, and Keir Starmer's rise

"It's bad but not as bad as some people are saying, and that's the real problem" ticks so many pundit boxes.

1. Contrarian ""nuanced"" take;

2. Punching left;

3. Defends evil without actually defending it, ensuring you're still invited to give keynotes at Evil Corp Dinners but also to MET Gala.
This happens with*everything* now. No matter how grave the crime or one-dimensional the injustice, after four days the hivemind of American punditry decides that the Real Story is how the people upset about it are the real villains.

So Team Starmer couldn’t ’possibly have known’ Mandelson was lying about his relationship with a convicted paedophile. Despite mountains of publicly available evidence.

Yet they spent £30,000 on private investigators trying to dig dirt on journalists who asked them troublesome questions? 🤔

On the one hand, the UK is increasingly poor, fractured, isolated, miserable and visibly decaying. On the other, Peter is rich and well-connected; his pals have an iron grip on a Labour Party they twisted back to a great bribes-for-favours factory.
