On the one hand, the UK is increasingly poor, fractured, isolated, miserable and visibly decaying. On the other, Peter is rich and well-connected; his pals have an iron grip on a Labour Party they twisted back to a great bribes-for-favours factory. Okay, it’s fucked *now*, but it was fine until now.
