i see i forgot to include the link to the Fargo's essay where i got this great analysis of the words 'terrorist' and 'terrorism' and why they cannot be 'recuperated' and 'weaponized' by anyone on the left.

some times I like to share my old work on here cause I think it's cool and I want people to hear the sounds that I made
How do you tell
someone what the ocean
felt like bursting? The church
was engulfed and mutual

aid was requested.
It’s not dark like closing
your eyes. Everything closes
to sameness. Thought:

oh no I’m dying oops.

happy international men's day to all strange little dunces carrying a big handful of damp leaves for no reason obvious to anyone, not least themselves
A pile of maple leaves appeared on our deck out of nowhere last night. Mystery solved! #opossum we call Esteban.

RIP Alice Wong
It’s been a pleasure working with Lex and everyone in the politics vertical at Teen Vogue. I’m heartbroken that my column, Disability Visibility, is gone. Teen Vogue was one of the few places that published disabled journalists regularly. I just spent the last 2 months working on my next column
I was laid off from Teen Vogue today along with multiple other staffers, and today is my last day.

certainly more to come from me when the dust has settled more, but to my knowledge, after today, there will be no politics staffers at Teen Vogue.

that people committed to difficult and uncharted lives deserve our respect even when we regard them as eccentric or lost or analyzable from one hundred yards
"my least woke opinion is---"

That's enough. We've had enough people indulging in the "thrill of a little conservatism", as a treat. Of considering reactionary thought to be a salacious and taboo in a world descending into reactionary mania.

Give me your MOST woke opinions. We're bringing it back.

What I'm listening to today: "Scandinavia", Billy Woods, ELUCID and The Alchemist

"Armand Hammer". Woods and clique have this amazing idiom of slowed-down, format-breaking rap music and this is the second all-timer album they've dropped this year

The cyclosa spider - famed for their elaborate web decorations, which are barely understood - has been found in Peru & the Philippines to weave scarecrows of itself. They can be so elaborate that they initially fooled the biologists who study them. One called it 'a theatre of deception.'

Have y'all ever seen a Nightjar?

They are found everywhere but Antarctica. This is what is flying around out there when you are asleep.

Their super-wide mouths open to around 120 degrees. As in more than a right angle.

We all learn from a young age that there’s enough food for everyone but millions of people starve anyway, that millions die from diseases for which cheap medicines exist, that there are many more houses than houseless, and so we learn exactly how much our lives are worth if we’re ever in the way.
