One of the perpetual annoyances of modern life is setting up new passwords on an app where they want God knows how many letters, numbers and symbols but don't allow you to see if you've typed them correctly, so you make a mistake and can't confirm them. Yes, #directline, I do mean you! 🤬

UK, take note, the bullies are coming after our media too.
Stephen Colbert responds to CBS disputing his claims that he was barred from airing the James Talarico interview:

"And for the lawyers to release this without even talking to me is really surprising. I don’t even know what to do with this crap. Hold on."

He then picks it up with a dog poop bag.

Trump: It’s a hoax. We should move on.

Trump’s DOJ: There’s nothing to investigate.

The UN: The revelations suggest a global criminal enterprise…a number of the abuses meet the legal threshold of crimes against humanity.

It's the mainstream media's faut!
They wanted trump in office partly on behalf of their owners and partly so they had a daily disaster to report on.
Now their job is simply to repeat everything he says like a gossip spreading rumours.

Apart from all the high profile names, exposed or redacted, in the Epstein files, what about the lesser enablers on Epstein's island - the gardeners, house servants, chefs, chauffeurs etc? They saw and heard things. They turned blind eyes.

They're guilty too. No excuses.

And now we've got Alexa in our living rooms, and built into our smart TVs whether we want it or not, how long before those old fashioned subpoenas are unnecessary, and Orwell's 1984 Big Brother really is watching our every movement and listening to our every word?
The New York Times reports that the Department of Homeland Security has sent Google, Meta, and other media corporations subpoenas for the names on accounts that criticize ICE enforcement. The department wants to identify Americans who oppose what it’s doing. I’ll save them time.

This by-election result is crucial. If Goodwin wins for Reform it may be the start of a slippery slope to a Farage government. This must not happen if we are to avoid emulating the decline of democracy which is currently seen in the USA.

Exactly the kind of casual cruelty the Nazi concentration camp guards enjoyed inflicting on starving Jewish children too. Sometimes I despair of humanity.
Guillotines are the moderate solution
On Thanksgiving, the immigrant children held at the Dilley detention center gathered in the gym for what they thought was a holiday feast.

The kids salivated over a spread of turkey, sandwiches, pastries and pies, a family told me.

But the food wasn’t for detainees — it was for the staff.

Things the Guardian could investigate:
Who paid for Farage’s house in Clacton?
How much did Nigel Farage know about Nathan Gill’s payments?
How much money did Farage receive from Bannon?
Who was behind the £200000 donation to Reform?
Why is Starmer so unpopular bleats the Guardian whilst failing to investigate Farage in any meaningful way.
