Lemn Sissay
'Yardley'? Seriously, she called the poor girl Yardley? That's a crime in itself.

Who needs satire nowadays when politics constantly parodies itself?

The extraordinary thing is that Trump makes Nixon look like a paragon of integrity.

Indeed. Arch Brexiteer and BBC critic Rees Mogg also works for GBN, Robbie Gibbs was its editorial advisor. Its owner Paul Marshall wants to make it the UK's biggest news network within ten years; it has only 10 million viewers now, a fraction of the BBC's global audience. Follow the money...

And as the Torygraph digs up another 'defamatory' edit, this time from Newsnight, Reform are gleefully back on BBC QT tonight.

Which is exactly why they're attacking the BBC for a silly editorial mistake that curiously Trump didn't even notice 12 months ago, yet now is so offended by that he's threatening a billion dollar lawsuit.

If Trump and his UK toadies' attack on the BBC succeed our press will be mincing their words even more carefully than the US's.

Arch BBC critics Farage and Rees Mogg present for GBNews, owned by r/w hedge fund owner Paul Marshall who wants it to be Britain's major newscaster in ten years time. It has an audience of less than 10mill now, a fraction of the BBC's. Robbie Gibb used to work for GBNews too. Go figure, as they say.

To put it politely, American lecturing the UK about anything at the moment is more than a bit silly.

I suspect Farage and co fall firmly into the downfall of UK democracy camp, while the average Reform voter just resents paying the licence fee in addition to their Sky Max and Netflix subscriptions (bet they all watched Celebrity Traitors though).

Actually, once upon a time the Torygraph was a decent enough paper with responsible journalists who were worth reading, even if one disagreed with them. Now it's just the Mail but with longer words.

They're banned here too under the 1936 Public Order Act - the response to Moseley’s Blackshirts throwing their weight around the East End. Same old, same old...

Can't think why but this reminds me of a Soviet era Hungarian joke asking why the police always went around in threes. The answer? One to read, one to write, and one to keep an eye on the intellectuals.

Something tells me this won't be on the front page of the Mail...

Quite, Especially as the Panorama prog in question was not actually made by the BBC in the first place but outsourced as is so much of its content nowadays.

Curious that it's taken 12 months for Trump to get offended by this. Something stinks, and it's definitely not Auntie.
