We visited the Egyptian Obelisk at The Met. We saw the famous crabs that were installed during its erection on site to stabilize the monument. It’s an impressive structure and we were lucky to meet an Egyptian tourist visiting NYC at the monument.

Red Sprites are an amazing & rare form of lighting that instead of going down, go up through the mesosphere. They manifest as a cold plasma dancing the ionosphere. They happen so fast it takes a good camera & shutter lightening triggers or continuous rapid long exposure settings to catch one.
