I have seen a small number of monarchs & fritillaries this year; their colors looked very vibrant.

In middle school, I had an English teacher who loved poetry. For extra credit, I memorized and recited "Invictus" and "Trees". Those were my favorite poems until I read "The Charge of The Light Brigade". 📚

How many miles? I felt your pain on Saturday; my younger sister (77yrs) and I walked 2.4 miles at an event: "Walk to End Alzheimer's). It was 80* and a tad humid. We were whipped along with my nieces and nephews.

That’s a sunset pic I took 2 years ago before my happy place was sold. The lighthouse beacon is no longer used. It was replaced by the tower at the corner of my Happy place; loved by the local osprey
