Democrats have spent 38 days trying to lower health care costs and reopen the government. Trump and Republicans completely control this process, and instead of looking for solutions they’ve defunded SNAP, interrupted commercial travel, and pursued political vendettas.

I cannot get past the fact that we are living in a time where the government of the most powerful nation on earth, representing 342 million people, is actively protecting pedofiles.

Not a conspiracy theory.
Not hyperbole.
Not even a secret.

Only utterly despicable and evil.

i guess whatever ends up happening i very much appreciate the way that so much of what comes out of this campaign offers a positive depiction of what politics can offer to a community instead of just grim attack stuff and fear
Six days left and a whole lotta doors to knock.

there was a trial of 5 free buses about a year ago and it wasn't a big success. he can appoint some of the rent guidelines board.
I live in brooklyn. the bus and bike lanes he can definitely do.
None of that is happening. I live in the Bronx. He can't do any of it.
Are they really worried about 5 free bus lines, 5 city owned grocery stores, & slightly lower rent increases in the minority of units that are stabilized?
We also might get way more bus & bike lanes, more upzoning and possibly childcare.

But they don't seem freaked out about any of that stuff.

These guys get $50k signing bonuses.

Stephen Miller is telling them they have immunity and encouraging them to create chaos.

They get almost no training, many couldn’t pass an open book exam & they’re allowed to hide their faces.

They’re swinging assault rifles around in public.

Abolish ICE

15 million people could be kicked off health care, thousands of federal workers are working without pay, and working-class folks are at risk of losing critical food assistance.

But the ballroom is the President's top priority.
Leavitt: At this moment in time, the ballroom is really the president's main priority.

Finding myself in the strange position of agreeing with Bob Holden on NYC Question 6.

I feel like odd year local elections are.... good.
Wish NYS did odd year elections, too.

Are elections once a year too hard for people?
