If you’re enjoying @margin.at, a bookmarking / highlighting / annotation app with support for @semble.so, donate to @scanash.com
Guys @scanash.com wants to buy an HP EliteDesk 800 G4 SFF that costs $150 so he can "legally" make a media server and NAS

so like give him money: ko-fi.com/scan

we're living through a paradigm shift in how we build together. we have new, powerful tools on our side that, when guided by human values, can help us rebuild our online world faster than ever. the key is how we scale welcoming, inclusive, and healthy communities to match our new collective powers
it all depends now on how fast we can scale trust and safety across our open communities

my favorite new Atmosphere site gotta be @semble.so. Curate collections of essays, articles, social media posts, and images, and then share them with other people. Great for pointing people towards your favorite writing on any topic, or a references list for your latest essay.

Subvert has secured an additional $50,000 in funding from AmbitioUS, an initiative of the Center for Cultural Innovation. This is a milestone that reflects both the strength of our vision and the values behind how we’re building Subvert.

@semble.so search is getting really good!
The cool part is that it will just get better as the community continues to curate content
Thoughtful curation + user owned data + real social networks >> SEO slop
I just saved this piece and found great stuff thru "Similar Cards"

I wrote about what I've been calling "The Everything Account"

If you're familiar with The Atmosphere, you already know how to get one, and this should hopefully help you explain it to others.

For those of you who aren't, you'll be surprised to know you already have one; here's how you use it:
The Everything Account
I've been thinking a lot about our accounts lately. We all have an ever-growing pile of digital identities scattered across the web, many forgotten after a brief stint with a random service we found i...

Very cool @atproto.science project!
🧵 Went to an ATProto meetup, got inspired, built a thing! octosphere.social is an experimental bridge between www.octopus.ac and that ATProto network, turning your Octopus research into distributed records that others can react to, respond to and build on.

Epstein files seem to me a compelling example highlighting the yawning gap between access to information and the capacity to make sense of it / act on it.

Information disclosure becomes almost performative if we lack the social/technical infrastructure to process it meaningfully.
