Joe Rogan: this is some Gestapo bullshit.
Rogan: "You don't want militarized people in the streets just roaming around, snatching up people — many of which turn out to be U.S. citizens that just don't have their papers on them. Are we really gonna be the Gestapo, 'Where's your papers?' Is that what we've come to?"

Trump: "I'm going to be a dictator on Day One"
Biden/Harris: "He said he's going to be a dictator on Day One."
Political reporters for all of 2024: "stop being so hyperbolic. Now, back to our coverage of Bidens age and whether or not Trump is correct that Kamala Harris isnt really Black"
“Trump does not see himself as a constitutional officer. … Trump is an anti-constitutional figure — whose very presence on the American political scene is nothing less than a full-spectrum assault on republican government and democracy.”
Compelling analysis.

Lolol - love this quote referring to Canadians as treacherous 🤣 #delusions
"but since they are Canadian I would not rule out treachery" is a real statement printed in the Atlantic, I am DYING 😂😂😂😂
The Atlantic suggesting, without evidence, that Canada's Global TV broadcasting the '60 Minutes' segment on CECOT that CBS distributed to it may have been an act of "treachery."

One thing I love is obsolete technology being encoded in our language. Words like “footage” and “rewind” and “dial (as a phone)” that literally describe a physicality that doesn’t exist anymore, yet lingers linguistically. Anybody have any other examples?
