Having considered this further, don’t pay him, let Trump sue for defamation.
It would be in a British court, good luck to him trying to prove that someone with 34 felony convictions can have their reputation damaged.
This is all about Trump trying to bring down the BBC, we can’t let that happen.

See what’s happening. A Trumpist US media company has taken over Channel 5. Another US company is gunning for ITV. Our social media is saturated by Musk’s calls for civil war in the UK. The BBC is the last thing standing, and Trump/Johnson are trying to bring it down

Nobody who complains about the boats can be appeased, because they don't care about the boats, they care about seeing non-white faces on the streets.

If Labour had morals or political sense, they'd fight that stupid narrative instead of pandering to it.

Can one of these ministers explain in what way the UK is a soft touch compared to most European countries who have much more generous benefits? Or why the UK is sixteenth in the list of European asylum claims per head?
Or are they so terrified of the Daily Mail that facts don't matter.

If Labour are willing to bin their manifesto pledges on tax rises, why not on Brexit?

That would win them far, far more votes than raising taxes ever will. Indeed, tax rises are likely to crater their weak support even further.

What's so magical about Brexit that it must remain untouchable?
