Has anyone in the American progressive movement ever considered starting their own party instead of falling back on the one that has only screwed them over time and time again?! I'm not saying it won't be extremely difficult but I don't think this current strategy is working very well.

I reviewed Die My Love: which I found to be an observant and honest portrait of post natal depression and a need for stimulation through isolation brought to life by J Lawrence's tense and uncompromising performance.

Vince Gilligan had the 'Pluribus' credits include 'this show was made by humans'

the one person I knew who liked Keir Starmer ( a former work colleague) had the charisma of a rice cake so come to think of it it makes sense that he would vote for a man with even worse charisma.

He was probably walking away in disgust over the thought of his colleague being sick from external circumstances. If no one is as healthy as he supposedly is, he’s not worth his time
RFK Jr's response to someone collapsing nearby him was to haul ass out of the room as quickly as possible

the meltdown from legacy media and others has been rabid considering none of his policies are even that radical (make NYC affordable) if you get down to it, his stance on Isreal has been fairly generous and I’m not sure how much he’ll get done since the top dems seem to not want what he’s proposing.

Randomly started watching the first episode of All's Fair

two takeaways

1) Sarah Paulson is easily the best thing about the show thus far is hardly in it.

2) 2014 called, it want's its girl boss pop feminism back!

A bunch of amoral music producers with zero creativity or soul and a limited capacity for wisdom have just made an extra hundred million bucks or more just for poisoning the market place with a chat bot that probably took less than 24 hours to make.

I hate it here!
This is so bleak. Xania Monet is not a real person. This is an entirely ai generated artist with AI generated music that has millions of monthly listeners and music getting actual radio play and millions of listens.

It's digital blackface.

I wonder how many American left commentators are gonna continue giving Graham Platner a pat on the back while also condemning Dick Cheney in the same breath?

Does Elon Musk think the UK is just a bunch of small villages and everyone knows the king personally?
Elon Musk, "These lovely small towns in England, Scotland and Ireland, they've been living their lives quietly. They're like hobbits"

"And so one day, 1,000 people show up in your village of 500 and start raping the kids"

"This has now happened, God knows how many times in Britain"

When Hamas smashes a plane into NYC like their hero Osama bin Ladin, will you also celebrate the death of your fellow Americans? So long as it's not you, right?

To be fair, I haven’t seen anyone argue for the return of lower budgets & terrible working conditions. Just that the show should be scaled back and be more simpler like it once was.Not have these grand end of the universe plotlines year after year. Not sure that translates to a return to shabbiness.
As Doctor Who’s budget is being discussed, there’s a persistent idea that it *should* be cheap like the original series, to allow for more creativity.

It’s worth reading the accounts of the creatives. Christine Rawlins was the costume designer for the 1970 series, and describes “blood and sweat”.
