I wasn’t able to attend the @ringoawards.bsky.social in person last night, but getting a call from @markwaid.bsky.social to say I’d won for Best Artist was so thrilling— then to get a SECOND call from him an hour later to say Batman & Robin: Year One #1 won Best Single Issue/Story?!?Unbelievable!

I’ve reached the 19 horror movies in 17 days phase of October and all I can think is “I’ve gotta find another genre.”
(All but one of these have been first-time watches and I’ve clearly got to rewatch some stuff I love and/or make better choices.)

I urge folks to watch this in full if they can. Kat & activists on the ground are 100% correct: That whole "Chicago is a war zone" narrative is FALSE & yet so popular with people in power, but the ones CREATING a war zone are the current regime, DHS & ICE, all over the city & def in #Broadview
