Port them to PC please. 😭
Kameo: Elements of Power and Perfect Dark Zero both celebrate their 20th anniversary today! Well, they're not actually celebrating, they're merely data and incapable of expressing emotion, but you and us? We can celebrate. To all the pummelled Trolls and Infection mode brawls!

News about the state of the world in general has become unbearable.
Living in the West feels like being a passenger in a car with no headlights or brakes, speeding down the wrong side of the motorway at night, and the 6-year old driver is in the middle of an intense psychotic breakdown.

I love how the success of the Tomb Raider remasters is directly tied to Core Design releasing their dev tools 25 years ago.

There was a big community of fan modders ready who only needed to be given official support.
I understand everything is harder than you think it is, but when Namco is cranking out these tales remasters at a rate of like one every six months I am unsympathetic to 'look it takes us 4 years to release a collection of PS1 games, best I can do'

No.

I don't care if your LLM summary is shit, because I'm not writing for people who don't want to read.
Saw a post today that advised writers to stop writing as if a human will read it and start writing for an LLM that will be summarising.

As someone who really enjoyed trying to develop a peculiar but readable authorial voice, I find this incredibly depressing.

The only two achievements I need for Shadow of the Tomb Raider are for the highest difficulty, so I'm doing a New Game+ run.

This story flows way better when you aren't doing Assassin's Creed-style map completion. Also makes the game really short though.

I started reading Simulacra and Simulation before I knew The Matrix was essentially based on it.

I saw the phrase "desert of the real" on page 1 and was like HOL' UP.

Imo Legend of Zelda after the Oracle games is just a different franchise.

This is bullshit.

"absolutely no genAI in games" is the middle ground.

"how many years in jail should Sam Altman get for knowingly stealing all data ever" is the somewhat more extreme stance I personally adopt.
"Surely there's a middle ground here?" The CEO of Helldivers 2 studio Arrowhead says people "jump to extreme takes" when debating generative AI, and that there needs to be more nuance in the discussion.

In general I thought it was too short to do the novel justice (the theme of a dying town doesn't really come to the forefront when we barely spend any time in it), but what they did to Barlow was absolutely inspired.
The 🇺🇸 American two-part vampire miniseries "SALEM'S LOT" based on the 1975 horror novel by Stephen King, directed by Tobe Hooper, starring David Soul, James Mason, Lance Kerwin, Bonnie Bedelia, Lew Ayres, Reggie Nalder & Geoffrey Lewis premiered #OnThisDay in 1979 on the CBS Network

The simple sad reality for these losers is that you can't have a connection with women if you train yourself to see them as disposable.

They're actively pursuing the goal of being top dog in the area of misery.

I thought a lot of early 2010 social media feminists were weird hall monitors appropriating progressive language too.

Thank God I wasn't stupid enough to let that era break my brain into believing women don't deserve rights and we should try fascism again. Seems like loser behavior.
