Letβs hope @mark-carney.bsky.social returns from China with a focus on consumers - itβs time to lower the tariffs on their EVs. The Big 3 here arenβt interested in making affordable, competitive EVs. Trump also wants to kill our auto manufacturing. The writing is on the wall.

Absolutely! The entire industry has been built on squeezing public funds. I really hope more citizens wise up to the fact that we would be building stranded assets. That pales in comparison to the further climate damage of course.

Was discussing this with my neighbours yesterday, and we all agreed itβs gotten worse. Driving my daughter to school Friday, a car going much faster than the posted 50km/h blew through a 4-way stop coming towards us. I flashed my lights and blew the horn, but I donβt think they even noticed.
