According to the NIV of the Old Testament,

the “Battle of Jericho” = G-d commanded Israelites to do a genocide.

“They devoted the city to the Lord and destroyed with the sword every living thing in it—men and women, young and old, cattle, sheep and donkeys.”

Bc as soon as those folks are on our train they’ll immediately see it as a pullman porter situation
You can welcome them aboard YOUR train.
Mine already left the station. 😌
Seeing a lot of “But they don’t deserve…” And no, of course they don’t. What the fuck does that have to do with anything? The house is on fire. Pass a bucket to whoever wants to put it out. You can remind them what an ass they’ve been later.

When I resigned as co-chair of the National Association of Black Journalists convention after their decision to platform Trump, I took a lot of heat for it.

I was told “Black journalists are going to expose his racism and save America”

Today, the Trump regime is arresting Black journalists.

But it was clear to me back then, that a lot of white and black folks were okay with Black journalists being lied on and disrespected by Trump… if it was good for ratings.

And now, here we are.

Arrests.

This is a problem at public schools as well.
It’s amazing how quickly it’s become perceived as ordinary (vs luxury/optional). A summer camp (ages 12-18) I know, says the kids doordash nonstop. Camp’s food is good/fresh cooked+snacks (I’ve eaten there) but apparently there’s now endless daily orders for Starbucks, McDs, Taco Bell, candy etc.
