Posting ghost jobs should be illegal. If companies do this to harvest consumer data or create the appearance that they are “always hiring” to appease investors, how is this just not fraud? Is there a meaningful legislative remedy for this?

There is now no heat and barely any food. Please help . Boost or whatever you’re able to do. My kids and I need food and heat. It’s literally freezing outside and I’m trying to keep it as warm as I can in the house.

Yes. I think it's also a sign of how status quo propaganda around "good change is inherently painfully slow" has seeped into the wider culture, even among radicals (you are not immune to propaganda, etc).

bruh. renaissance was really so good. i literally listened to it 3 or 4 times a day for at least 10 months.
it was so crazy too bc it made me realize ppl be hearing completely different things. ppl LOVED "All Up In Your Mind" and I literally do not see how that is possible.

Charlotte is turning into Chicago in the course of a day. My husband went to work earlier this afternoon and was informed Hispanic staff were sent home due to an ICE raid around the block in which all the Hispanic employees were rounded up and arrested. Fuck ICE.

Well I think it’s less about whether women are capable than about whether their status is seen as an affront. A woman who has only male bosses her entire career is not seen as an anomaly; a man who has a woman bass (even once!) is seen to have suffered an indignity.

This is a really smart point: that this argument rests on a combination of both misogyny and a populist hostility to class inequality. By asserting that women dominate the managerial class, misogynists can depict women as the oppressors. Something "left" and "right" misogynists would find convincing
