Been on the road, been watching Magnum in downtime. I think this show reminds me most of Rockford in how character driven it is. Hilarious that T.C. is a ballet aficionado (for example). I wish they would release the score for this show, going back to season 1. Mike Post did some good work here.

the funny thing about that, is that I am so hardcore against a lot of the jingoism and rah-rah shit that people wouldn't expect it. I sound like Dick Gregory talking about that shit. I just have a deep aversion to graphic violence (contradicted by my brief flirtation with Mortal Kombat 1-3).

Denny’s real problem has been that the early 20s folks are priced out of nightlife. If people were still able to go out and socialize until last call without needing to take out a loan, Denny’s would still be thriving. Nothing like an omelet at 3 AM with smudged mascara and a sweated out silk press
