Today’s reason to cancel your subscription to the New York Times.
The Times doesn’t get the benefit of the doubt here. I’d love to know which reporter asked these questions.

The funny thing is that on the WaPo site, if you click on the comments section, it gives you an AI-generated summary of people's responses that is basically like "They all disagree with the paper's right-wing turn"

VA Senate president pro tem absolutely rips MD Senate president for opposing redistricting.

Notably, VA Dems win massively *after* pushing for a new map.

And that's how it's supposed to work: There has to be an election after an amendment is proposed so voters can weigh in before it can proceed.

It’s so weird to see a leader of any church or Christian group say things that make them sound like actually good people. As an east Texas kid, it’s totally foreign. I’m sure it’s equally foreign to most American Catholics as well.
"Pope Leo said Scripture emphasizes the question that will be posed at the end of the world:

'How did you receive the foreigner, did you receive him and welcome him, or not? I think there is a deep reflection that needs to be made about what is happening'..."

Pope Leo calls for ‘deep reflection’ about treatment of detained migrants in U.S.
“Many people who have lived for years and years and years, never causing problems, have been deeply affected by what is going on right now,” Chicago-born pope says.

“They” fuckin typos man

It’s clear they got rattled by USA Today putting Ausberry’s VERY PUBLIC AND DISQUALIFYING SHIT in the street again and are hoping people forget about it again.

I would encourage everyone to keep using his full name “Multi-Time Title IX Violator Verge Ausberry”

No matter how hard people try to convince us having empathy is wrong,

it is right.

No matter how hard people try to convince us that diversity is a weakness,

No matter how hard people try to convince us that love is limited,

it is unlimited.

20 years ago this piece of shit seemed to be near death, just to give you some realistic expectations for just how long the worst people can live. A truly despicable human who lived long enough to be deified by the Democratic Party in the 2024 election which definitely inspired voters

Say what you want about the chaos at LSU. The absolute moral and institutional rot that let’s Freeze be HC, and replaced by DJ Durkin as interim HC, is terminal. What a horrible program.
SOURCES: Auburn has fired head coach Hugh Freeze, @theathletic.com has learned.

Comes one day after a 10-3 loss to Kentucky to fall to 1-5 in SEC play. DJ Durkin will be the interim head coach.

Most important thing for us dems to do is to get rid of Jeffries and abolish any of the party machine that tries to keep him in power.
